![]() ![]() Starrett has featured her in many of the company’s repertoire including the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Leopard Maiden in his signature ballet, Dracula, and the role of Tinker Bell in the company’s premier of Peter Pan. In 2009, she was invited by Artistic Director, William Starrett, to join the Columbia City Ballet and was promoted to Soloist Dancer in 2013. During her time in Boston, she became an instructor at the Boston Ballet Center for Dance Education in their primary division under the direction of Margaret Tracey. Upon graduation, she joined Ballet Rox in Roxbury, MA and danced principle roles in the company performing throughout the greater Boston area. Columbia City Jazz Dance School & Company features classes for beginning young dancers to an advanced college preparatory program for pre-professionals. She went on to attend the Boston Conservatory of Music on scholarship graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2008 with a BFA in Dance focusing on both ballet and modern dance. #Columbia city jazz professional#During her time as a student there, she joined the company as a trainee, was invited to join the professional company as an apprentice, and selected to perform and train with USDAN, a professional summer company in New York directed by Ballet San Jose director Dennis Nahat. Upon acceptance in to the School of San Jose Cleveland Ballet, she was named the Bess Cartwright Scholarship Recipient. We are thrilled to have Autumn Hill with us at The Southern Strutt again this year! Autumn is a native of California where she began her dance training with tap, jazz, and musical theater. ![]()
